Job Description: We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. As a Security Guard, you will be required to maintain a high level of alertness, respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies, and enforce company policies and procedures. This role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:

  1. Patrol assigned areas regularly, monitoring premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or any other illegal activity.
  2. Conduct security checks of buildings, gates, and entrances to ensure they are properly secured.
  3. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for any suspicious activities or security breaches.
  4. Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance, investigating disturbances and taking appropriate action.
  5. Escort employees or visitors as needed, ensuring their safety and maintaining order.
  6. Prepare detailed reports on any security incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences.
  7. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies or emergency responders when necessary.
  8. Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
  9. Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, or customers with inquiries or directions.
  10. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing the company.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position.
  2. Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  5. Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  6. Physical fitness and stamina to perform patrol duties.
  7. Knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
  8. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and alarm systems.
  9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  10. Valid security guard license or certification (if required by local regulations).
